What To Do If Your Vaporizer Is Leaking?
What to do in this situation?
Have you ever tried to have a relaxing evening home alone with your vaporizer only to have it start leaking on you, then you know true pain. Leaking vaporizers can ruin your jeans, leak into and destroy your purse, it might even leak onto your phone. All this, my friends, is simply no bueno.
Some people think that getting the concentrate to leak out on top of you is simply par for the course, that this is an inevitability. And while I wouldn’t totally agree with that view you do need to know what to do if it starts happening to you.
Build-up Can Effect Performance
If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of owning a leaky vaporizer then there are some steps you can take. It’s of the utmost importance to make sure your atomizer and coil are squeaky clean and free from congealed wax. This kind of buildup can seriously affect your vaporizers performance. What you need to do is get yourself some quality high-percentage isopropyl alcohol and get cleaning. If there’s any rubber make sure to remove it so it doesn’t get damaged or compromised from the presence of the alcohol. Thoroughly clean the adjustable air flow and coil and make sure that they’re dry once you’re done.
If you want you could also consider heating up the areas to loosen the stick concentrate build up. A thorough clean can save you the stress of paying for a new atomizer. There’s nothing worse than having to replace a piece of equipment for something as easier solved with a good scrub. Once you’ve finished cleaning your vape, make sure its dry and store it in an upright position to avoid future leaks.
